Welcome Visitor
Visitors to Toddlers Nursery must follow all nursery policies to ensure everyone’s safety. Please behave respectfully, follow staff instructions, and remain only in permitted areas. The use of mobile phones or cameras is not allowed inside. All visitors should wear a badge, follow health and safety rules, and report any incidents immediately. By entering, you agree to these terms—failure to comply may result in your visit being ended or future access restricted.

Terms and Conditions for Visitors
1. Purpose of Visit
Visitors are welcome at Toddlers Nursery for the purpose of attending scheduled events, meetings, or for administrative matters. All visitors must adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff.
2. Conduct and Behavior
- Visitors are required to behave respectfully and courteously at all times.
- Aggressive or disruptive behavior is not permitted and will result in the immediate termination of the visit.
- Visitors must follow all instructions provided by nursery staff during their visit.
3. Access
- Visitors are not allowed to interact with children outside of the scheduled events without prior consent from staff and the child’s parent/guardian.
- Access to certain areas, such as staff rooms and children's personal areas, may be restricted.
4. Health and Safety
- Visitors must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the nursery, including hand washing and sanitizing protocols.
- The use of Mobile phones, cameras or smart devices/watches are prohibited within the setting.
- Visitors/Parents – Please keep your phones switched off in your bag/pocket whilst touring the nursery.
- Multi Agency professionals, you will be required to sign your mobile phone into the lockers in the Office.
- If you need to make a call, management will direct you to the staff room or office, where you can use the phone.
- Safeguarding Information Boards: Prior to commencing your visit, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Safeguarding Information Board located in the Office. The information on this board is repeated on all Safeguarding Boards within every base room. These boards display the names and images of our Designated Safeguarding Officers, who are responsible for leading on Safeguarding. One of them will always be in the building. Further information on escalation procedures and contact details of Children’s First Response & Local Authority Designated Officer can also be found on these boards.
- Policies and Procedures: In our reception area, the nursery policies and procedures are located in the red flipchart. You are welcome to review these at any time. Please speak to a member of the Management Team or one of the Designated Safeguarding Officers if you have questions.
- Visitors should NOT enter the nursery if they are feeling unwell or have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with a contagious illness.
- Any incidents or accidents involving visitors must be reported immediately to nursery staff.
5. Security
- All visitors must wear a visitor badge while on the premises.
- Visitors must exit the nursery premises upon completion of their visit and notify staff of their departure.
- Visitors are not permitted to bring any items that could pose a safety risk to children (e.g., sharp objects, arms, food allergens, etc.).
6. Photographs and Video Recording
- Visitors are not allowed to take photographs or record videos of the children or premises without explicit written consent from the nursery management and the parents or guardians of the children involved.
7. Personal Belongings
- The nursery is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings brought by visitors.
- Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them and may not leave items unattended in the nursery.
8. Emergencies
- In the event of an emergency, visitors must follow the instructions of the nursery staff and cooperate fully with any safety procedures in place.
9. Liability
- Visitors are responsible for their own actions during their visit to the nursery.
- The nursery is not liable for any injury or damage sustained by visitors unless caused by the negligence of the nursery staff.
10. Consent for Participation
By visiting the nursery, visitors consent to adhere to all terms and conditions outlined here. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of the visit and future access restrictions.
